A ~200 person paid community + 400 other Free members exchanging ideas, talent and capital in health/tech

In-Person Meetups

We meet once a month at a bar, or a company's office. We're always open to new Sponsor Partners if you/your company is interested! Schedule/logistics, here: https://peppernyc.umso.co/partner

Double Opt-In Intros

There is a CRM with everyone in the community and you can request intros there as well (scroll down for quick video). We will continue building out the detail in this overtime.

Accelerating Early-Stage Ideas

@Founders: By being in Pepper, you open yourself up to invite-only events for Founders/Investors. Also we facilitate intros to investors. @Investors: Pepper leans heavily towards the early-stage.

Please apply to join Pepper only if you meet the following criteria:

(1) Live in NYC,
(2) Work/Invest in healthcare services (not Pharma or Med Device),
(3) Have 4+ years of industry experience
(4) Not in the "services industry" (e.g., bankers, lawyers, consultants)

Who started Pepper and why?

Rohan Siddhanti (info below) started this because he loves facilitating ideas/intros, and wanted to jumpstart the NYC healthcare community, specifically meeting up in person again.

Who is in it today?

200 people, this breaks down to 36% Founders, 22% Investors and 42% Operators - all folks who live in NYC and have years of healthcare services experience.

How can I best help Pepper today?

Is Pepper Free?

No, it currently costs $80/year/member. That gets you access to meetups, dinners and invite-only events. New Members are let in on a quarterly basis.

Rohan has been in healthcare services for almost 10 years - he's currently the VP of Partnerships for Healthie, an API-first EMR. He began his career building Health Insurance Exchanges for States, then transitioned to a healthcare data startup ("Mana", acquired by Comcast); after a Wharton MBA he spent two years in healthcare management consulting at Oliver Wyman, then joined Bright Health (NYSE: BHG) as the Director of BD/Partnerships. Outside of work and Pepper, he loves being with his wife Rooshy, Founder and CEO of AAVRANI, the Indian-inspired beauty brand.
