One-time yearly membership fee gets you access to: (1) Monthly happy hours (often sponsored), (2) CRM for intros, (3) Quarterly Dinners, (4) Community Happening (e.g., jobs, other events), (5) Bespoke Event Invites, and (6) Founder-only events, often sponsored (if relevant to you).
One year. If you want to rejoin next year, you'll pay again ,in a year, for the following year's membership.
This membership will allow Pepper to add new supporting tech to increase feedback loops and spread community learnings (e.g., typeform surveys, more robust airtable, pay for mailchimp, potentially a job board). I'll also be exploring an online channel for us to communicate (I'm a bit anti-Slack as I believe there's a plethora of those already). Also this membership will cover my costs (~$3-5k/year) and time (5-10 hrs/week).
No. While I will be admitting new Pepper Members on some time increment, you'll go to the back of the queue. There's currently a waitlist of 51 people (and growing), and I'll be capping the membership at a certain number. It's more like a Last-One-Out is Last-One-Back-In, principle.
Contact me directly and we'll work it out.
You'll have to take the value prop on faith and from referrals :) See the main page for event pics and the Partner page for past sponsors to get a sense of how we do.
No need :/ I'll simply put you in the "General Pool" of Non-Paying Pepper Members.
We now live in the Age of Community! NYC has become the undisputed capital of Health/Tech and will only grow stronger in these coming years. The learnings and connections from an in-person community are more valuable now, than ever before. As we continue to live more of our lives online, these in-person events will blur the lines between professional and personal, in a good way. Pepper is a casual place where people can meet like-minded others for talent, capital, partnerships, sales, or just a good time.
